A new gymnasium equipped with facilities to host the Independence Interscholastic and intramural athletic programs and competitions is available for the convenience of the students.

The physical education program is under the direction of three full-time instructors. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, and track and field interscholastic seasons allow students to try out and participate.

The Independence Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam (IIAAG) policies do require that students participating in sports maintain no lower than a 2.5 G.P.A.

In addition, the physical education program also offers course study, workshops and clinics in exercise, cha cha dancing, games, wellness, self-esteem, movement, physical fitness, team sports, and individual and dual sports.
